Freedom, Beauty, Thruth and Love (Moulin rouge)

In DAE, more than designing we learn freedom. We learn how could we be a master at our own creativity. I’m therefore living in The Netherland where I was left alone hahahahha. No but really it allowed me to create for myself a network of peers creative and, on best days, we channel our energy together and become stronger. On worst days I’m just here in the Netherlands and it’s raining.
Before entering Design Academy I graduated in Textile Design where I got introduce to some very old and elaborate crafts, from knitting to pattern making or very basically sewing. Also to a certain industrialisation of those crafts and what do that imply.

I couldn’t call textile my prefered media even if it’s maybe the one I have the most skills in. What I adore in textile is a certain care for tactility, beauty, being color driven. But also a very particular kind of process: Sample making. Exhaust the possibilities of a material, word, principle, craft... I’m trying to apply the same care and process to other medias like movie making for example.

I wouldnt say I’m a 2D designer, cause I still let my 2D production become 3D. But I do process things flat. A cube is 6 surfaces !!!!!!
As I am so sentitive to visual, I thrive when I have to make one, and I can be very quick about it.
