What’s a flower if not something that grows. When entering Carole Baijings’ house, I felt like stepping into her hearth. Everywhere I looked was objects she fell in love with and collected over the years. Some very rare and precious and some totally mundane but each of them were so very special. Those sculptures are the result of my fascination for her interior. Trying to assemble colors and textures to reflect the memories sitting side by side on a shelf.
A house with a soul, a soul that says everything is precious if you know how to look, everything will grow and nothing will stay forever.
But on your path, you’ll always find fresh flowers.
